Suffolk Court, our "home" in the Bahamas
When my husband's work brought us to the Bahamas last year, I didn't know what to expect for housing. While viewing available units with our real estate agent, we were shown the condo that became our "home" here at Suffolk Court. On seeing it, we both responded with the same simple emotion, "Wow!"
We continue to appreciate how special this place is, even as we have settled into a comfortable daily routine. The complex is very attractive, well- landscaped and maintained. It is also conveniently located to my husband's offices. The coded gate and night-time security help to make us feel very safe here. The elevator is such a help to getting our groceries upstairs.
It is a real pleasure to step onto our balcony each morning to the view of the canal below us (often with a sighting of a sea turtle or ray), and glimpse the ocean nearby. When we aren't using the pool downstairs, we can make the drive to the beach in only a few minutes. The sliding glass doors stay open most of the time to allow the breezes to freshen the apartment all day.
Our spacious and high-ceilinged 2-bedroom unit is open-plan and all on a single level. Not only are there no stairs to climb, but the air-handler has to work less, which saves on electricity. Top-of-the-line laundry appliances are right in the unit, convenient for our private use anytime. The bathrooms are truly beautiful and luxurious. We are proud to entertain guests here.
The condo came fully furnished, and we are impressed with the quality of the furniture, linens and kitchen goods. Anytime we have needed any repair or other assistance here, a phone call brought timely service. The management has always been easy to reach and eager to help.
We will soon be near the end of our yearly lease and hope to extend for at least another year. We are pleased to call Suffolk Court "home".

My therapeutic view along with the cool Bahama breeze on rough days alleviates stress greatly. It gives me the ability to work harder, be more productive and maintain a steady focus. I have close relatives and friends that often come over for weekend barbeques. Suffolk Court is by far the best condominium on the island and I enjoy living there.
